Name: Babel (nicknamed Babe)
Sex: Female
Species: Goat
Height: 154cm
Personality: She's smart like her sister but she has quite the outspoken attitude and being the youngest, she feels as if she's allowed to be the mischievous one. She doesn't like any kind of shoes and will avoid wearing them at all costs.
I proudly present you Babel, Babylon's twin sister.
I am still polishing my pixeling skills, at least lineart-wise, and experimented a bit with the shadows because I wanted to add more colour to my gallery. =D
I'll do a colour palette later, for future commission references, because you can't quite see her colouring with all the filters I've used. ^^;

Haha, I know, I have little patience for pixel shading, especially with big images... I tried some effects following dA tutorials and I can now appreciate all the patience that pixel artists put in their work. For me it's hard to do even the lineart, I take about twice the time I would for a brush one. T_T
But I'm happy you like it. =D

What is usually recommended for bigger pieces is to cell-shade where needed and to then dither where it needs to fade out a bit.
That way, you can lay the colour down quickly before detailing it and "blending" the colours.
That being said, i don't usually do big pieces because they tend to eat up all my free time. D:
And welcome!
