Anon question: How does inkits hair/fur work?

Oh that’s an unusual question well i’d be happy to answer that
As the picture shows the new style and old i have been working on for Inkits hair/fur
New: It’s a bit shorter but not too much, it’s still pretty long and has more life to it and one eye is usually covered on one side and it’s also very fluffy
Older: Kinda flat and meh unless she moves around or a breeze comes and blows on it, it’s very very long but it was an old art style of mine that I happily fixed into the new one
Tail: Pretty much the same in both styles, it is freaking long and fluffy like the rest of her fur, she has to be anyhow if she wants to stay warm in the arctic regions (she is an arctic wolf)
Also I usualy don’t draw them (or i forget dohoie) but she wears purple glasses
