Experimenting with a 2x teleconverter. Not really sure if I'm liking the results. Might just need to work on it.
Seems to amplify camera shake too much and I feel I'm losing sharpness.

Yeah you'll have to reduce the velocity to compensate the high f, but if you still getting velocities above 1/100 there is no worries about blur... You know what they say about velocity, focal length and blur: 'if you are in 50mm use at least 1/50, 100mm 1/100, 200mm 1/200....'
