Gift for Laura (1/3): Meerkat Resting
Just to give 
Laura_the_Meerkat some delight (I consider her a friend), I had gone to San José's Happy Hollow Park & Zoo in Califronia to take a few pictures there. Fun place, but I feel a bit too old to go alone. I enjoyed myself seeing the exotic animals there. I was able to get one meercat (this spelling is correct also) resting under a palm tree. There were many more than just him/er...
This was taken under an old Kodak EasyShare 8.1MP digital camera at around the winter of 2011/12.
