I imagine they are territorial. I always wonder...if they really were living creatures in the real world...wouldn't they get upset and angry about being placed in a PC Box (and, often, NEVER used again...simply because a Trainer is "trying to catch them all")? With my "HeartGold" game, I decided to try and play through the story with only six Pokemon, period...I decided what Pokemon I wanted (beyond a Starter) and traded with my other games to get what I wanted...and I only used THOSE Pokemon (no Legendaries, either--I traded for freshly hatched Pokemon). It was very interesting to never have Pokemon in a PC Box or anything...

i'm not that big a fan of gen2. never was.

i didn't even finish soul silver. just dragged myself through it long enough for black/white to come out.

*lol* Everyone has their faves...personally, I don't care for the Kanto Region (first games), but if you say that to a die-hard fan, they're likely to lynch you! *wry chuckle*

I did that on my Red version. So to say, I filled my belt and ventured forth. Areodactyl and Kabutops is among them. My pokedex says 8 and under 17 hours. Still need to beat the elite four, though. It was really fun to do though.

It really is fun...I've been trying to do that with the "other version" (I buy all versions...I even have TWO "Platinum" games! *lol*) games, ever since I tried that in "HeartGold"...of course, your PokeDex is going to register more than you have, since you have to have stuff to TRADE to another game for the ones you want to have in your party. I think I was closer to 20 hours when I got to the Elite Four in HG...it does help to streamline your game, that's for sure!

Sorry is this being done in sorta glimpses? Cause the transfer from frame 2 to 3 is kinda weird

yeah. i assume so, anyway. i'm just following the script. it went from route 32 to the exterior of a pokemon center.
