Halfway done as far as scales go...
I'm quite impressed with the shiny-ness, I'm using the backing of some vinyl for the scales and ... yeah, they're all done separately. Tiring work, it is. Good thing I've got my Cyrin to help me out :D

this is interesting to me. right now i'm working on a dragon outfit for a friend of mine and he wants it scaled... but i find this is making it very difficult for me. fur is so much easier!
