Circa 1919 during the Grand Conquest series (an AU strategy game that started in 1900 and is currently just past present day.)
The Caesar was designed as the Britannian Empire's flagship, and to dwarf every other ship on the seas during its time. Speed and firepower were it's priority, carrying 2 turrets of 3x 16" barrels and 2 of 3x 15" barrels, the Caesar could more than handle its own again any other capital ship of its time, and the smaller 8" turrets were perfect against the cruisers in use by most navies. Another boasted advantage was the open observation deck that allowed the captain and fleet commanders an unobstructed view of the seas, as well as the observation nest above that which was used for calling out positions. Aft the ship honored the age of sail in that it had a large and luxurious galley for the Admiralty to enjoy when not in battle.
Sadly, due to many funding issues only the Augustus was ever built before the class was deemed outdated and taken out of active service. But it still acted as a powerful boost to moral during the Homeland Campaign where King Charles attempted to take back all that was Rome, claiming Roman heritage as a birthright of Britannia.
