It is, isn't it! I have a few more shots from different angles which I will upload later, and from the looks of it, it's painted up to resemble some of those very early Army Air Corps aircraft from the unit's creation. A very unique thing to see on a modern fighter!

And thinking this kind of coloring are usually only for acrobatic patrols, makes me think a little about the "blue angels" about that blue ^^
