THE PCA IS NOT DEAD YET!!!!

Anyway I'm taking a break from Voyage to go back to my original work at the PCA since there's still a LOT more I'd like to do with my characters =3 Lets start with something people have been waiting a long, long time for... an update with Thomas and Ella! =D

PCA – A Walk in the Park




It was a sunny, summer day in Viridian day. The sun was high in the sky with just enough cloud cover to keep it from getting too hot, the perfect day to be outside. One couple was walking along a park path hand in hand. They were quite the sight. One was a peppy looking lucario girl with a cheerful bounce in her step. The reflected light off of her neon colored might have counted as a safety hazard. The other was an absol wearing deep dark colors except for a bright green scarf and strip of cloth covering his left eye. The two looked as different as night and day and were so happy to be with each other they were in their own little world.

They stopped to sit on a park bench, the absol breathing a bit hard as the lucario cuddled close to him and rested her head on his shoulder “Are you okay Thomas? Maybe pushing yourself like this isn’t such a good idea…” she said gently as he smiled back to her “I’m fine Ella. Just… just a bit winded is all. Being in a hospital bed in a coma for months can do that to you…” he said with a soft sigh as Ella cuddled him, gently of course. She’d been better at watching her strength lately, at least when it came to him anyway.

“We’ll you are improving.” She said, being an optimist as she gently took his arm and moved it a little “You’re arms no longer broken and you aren’t making that wincing, hurty face when I touch it.” She chirped making him chuckle “True… lets thank Arceus for small blessings… but I’m still in no shape to go back in the arena.” He admitted, remembering how hard it was just to move after he’d woken up from his coma. He’d come a long way but he was still weak and most of his stamina hadn’t returned “Sorry for letting you and Team Neon down…” he added hanging his head a little… Ella gave him a gentle rap on the skull.

“Ow!”

“You’re not letting anyone down! Your job is to recover! The team will be fine till you get better, got it?” she said kissing his cheek and cuddling him more making him chuckle a little and hug back nuzzling against her “Fine, if you say so team captain…” he commenting teasingly making her kiss his nose “That’s “Fiancé” to you.” She teased back, her tail wagging happily, before snuggling him more “But anyway… what are you going to do till then? You mentioned transferring to another major until you got better.” Thomas sat there quietly for a moment just enjoying the cuddles before responding.

“I transferred to the business major actually…” he finally said, not sounding too enthused “Since I’m going to have to take over running the Evoluzion Family when I “Come of age”… whatever that means. I might as well be prepared.” There was a moment of silence before he continued “And since we’re on the subject of the Evoluzion Family you three might as well come out and introduce yourselves since you still refuse to go away.” He said in an irritated tone as there was a slight rush of wind and Ella sat bolt upright in the bench as three mon appeared in front of them.

They were three umbreons and currently kneeling in front of them before rising to their feet. One of them was a young man somewhere in his early twenties with handsome, if slightly feminine, features and medium length dark hair. He was wearing a skin tight suit as dark as his fur and a grim, sober expression on his face. Next to him was lady around the same age with an oddly petite form and features giving her a pretty and dainty look accented by shoulder length white hair. She was wearing a matching suit and a pair of thin spectacles which failed to hide the bemused look in her eyes. Last there was a hulking umbreon guy who stood a full head and a half taller than the other two with a sculpted figure more suited for a machoke then a dark type. He had a crew cut and expressionless look on his face as well as a suit matching the other twos.

Ella looked to Thomas for some kind of explanation as the absol just gave an annoyed sigh “Ella I’d like you to meet the bodyguard the family assigned me, without my permission or impute I might add, Eliseo, Bettina, and Gavino.” He said pointing at the guy, the girl, and the big guy in order before sighing and leaning back on the bench “And despite my best efforts to make these stalkers go away they’re still here so you’ll probably have to get used to them. Sorry.” He finished as Ella tilted her head to the side for a moment then giggled “Hello! It’s nice to meet you… but why did they assign Thomas bodyguards?”

Eliseo gave a dismissive snort as he looked down his nose at the lucario “It’s simple logic.” He said in a cold dismissive tone “Considering Lord Thomas’s… impressive history of accidents and tragedies the family thought it would be wise to insure no more injuries befell him. Though I must say I would find this job much more palatable if one of the biggest risks to harm him wasn’t his current love interest…” he added as he gave Ella a cold look and she puffed her cheeks out, getting ready to yell at him… just as Bettina elbowed him hard and giggled.

“Oh lighten up Seo!” she commented “I think they’re a cute couple! Adorable even!” she winked to the two as Eliseo stumbled and turned to growl at her, a slight blush on his cheeks “I told you never to call me that while we’re working! And I don’t care HOW “Cute” they are our job is to keep this idiot safe so” he was abruptly cut off by Bettina getting really close and putting a finger to his lips “Sooo? So what? Look at it this was Seo if we help these two move their relationship along then our young lord here might just produce an heir to take over in case anything happens to him.” She giggled and hugged the flabbergasted umbreon as Ella and Thomas sat there in jaw dropped horror at the suggestion.

Eliseo and Bettina started bickering back and forth as the two teens just watched them till they felt a hand on their shoulders. Turning around they found that Gavino had somehow gotten behind them. The huge umbreon looked at them for a moment before a surprisingly soft smile broke out on his face “Don’t worry about those two.” His voice was much more even and mellow then his looks would suggest “They tend to argue like this whenever they talk, and before you ask yes they are a couple.” He added chuckling softly “Don’t worry about either of them bothering you too badly, I’ll do my best to keep them in line.”

They two just looked at him for a moment, not sure what to make of this. To be honest Thomas hadn’t really talked with his “bodyguards” beyond telling them to go away. Gavino laughed and gently pushed them up to stand “You two run along and have fun now, from what I understand you deserve to have time together after what you’ve been through.” He looked to his two still arguing associates “Don’t worry about those two, I’ll keep them out of trouble. You kids just go and have fun.” He said with a smile as the gently pushed the two down the path a little.

Thomas & Ella needed no further prodding as they quickly resumed walking leaving Gavino to break up the fight between the other two. After they’d put a bit of distance between them Thomas sighed “Sorry about that…” which just made Ella giggle “Don’t worry about it, I thought they were kinda silly actually!” the absol smiled as he gently kissed Ella’s cheek and cuddled into her as they walked. After a moment she spoke up.

“Um… they aren’t gonna be spying on you when we’re in the dorm together are they?”

“I threatened to throw myself off a roof if they did.”

“…”

“I wouldn’t actually DO it… intentionally anyway. Just needed to get my point across.”

“Good.”
