Just a thought. You could weave a battery pack into the "trunk". It doesn't have to look like a battery pack, just something with a positive and negative terminal that you can plug a battery into, then run an insulated cable through out to lightr leds through the branches and into the root system.. Or not, just an idea
Would be hard to hide that kind of thing within glass if I had the ability to burn a small hole and make a black cap for the base where a battery could be stored safely or make the system modular enough, then that idea just may work. *erfs and softly smiles* Thanks for the thoughts though~
There is a device that we use at work. It is very utilitarian and gets bounced around a lot, basically it's batteries just go into a housing like a pipe. After having the batteries pop out a couple times from being dropped, I asked my employer if i could borrow one, and took it to home depot to get a thin piece of copper piping to go around it. It actually looks like it was built that way now that the copper has gotten a patina on it from being exposed to cleaning products..
