Tried a variation on the RBK method for this one of Pipkin's character somewhere between "psychotic glee or homicidal rage" Of course, this called for underlighting again ^^ This one definitely came out the dirtiest/grittiest/creepiest of all the other icons so far, and it was a blast. Bruised background, hurr hurr.

ah wonderfull composition. i especialy like the ghoul lighting and the white under the pupil. you found some wonderfull muddy colors in this peice, especialy around the shadows of the nose ears and forehead. it would be nice to see some subtle variation like that continued in the backround to a slightly larger extent that you did. keep up the good work.
Yeah, I'll admit that the background was a bit of an afterthought. I must have been in the zone when I did this, because everything else you mentioned wasn't especially thought through.
