Much thanks, man! What I do is just pick the colours for shading and highlighting, then just kind of...flail at it. lol Seriously, it's a mess and there's no real technique to it, just flail and try to keep everything blending nicely. ;P

I've always wanted to do a character sheet for my characters, but I've never had the patience to do it. lol
Yeah, I can't stand Photoshop for that reason alone. I mean, yeah, you can get around that by working on a 3000x3000 canvas, but who wants to waste that much space when they can have the same detail on a canvas half the size in SAI? lol
