Congratulations on your achievement, and good job on your hard work!
Please pardon my ignorance, but what exactly is this coin? Is this more or less a medal that the military hands out to folks who perform above and beyond the call of duty? Does this coin also get you an additional ribbon to wear on your uniform?
You seem like a guy who is really motivated and hardworking, and it does not surprise me at all that you are doing so well in the military. Who knows, maybe you will be an officer in no time, isn't it?

alright the coin. as I was told the coin is really a challenge coin. you would be out with your military buddies at a bar and whip out your coin to "challenge" your other friends to see if they had one. If a guy did not he would then owe each member in your group a drink. you can also lose by ether all the guys had coins so you had to buy the drinks or a person had a coin from a higher ranking individual then you, you would also have to buy the drinks. I dont drink so for me its just something to represent hard work. althoe i would much rather get a pay raise
