...so as it turns out, the dog that I had originally gone to the PSPCA for had already been adopted. But, you know me....there were tons of dogs there in need of a home, I HAD to go take a look! Two of them caught my eye, but this one really stole my heart.

He's a miniature schnauzer mix, with apparently some chowchow in him (I think they're guessing that due to his mottled blue tongue!)...I think he may have some other breeds in him too but it's so hard to tell! He was confiscated from a dog hoarder who surrendered at least 30 other dogs to the SPCA. He's 3 months old, active, and friendly as anything, a real sweetheart! After I got home and was looking over his paperwork, I immediately started tearing up...turns out he was born the very day that Taz passed away. Meant to be, totally meant to be.

Am anxiously awaiting the phone call to take him home! But for now you get a photo from the adoption center. ;)
