I'd say its BW but then it could just be a ruse and you want me thinking the exact opposite, then again you might think that I'd think the opposite of what I was just thinking so I'd go back to my original hypothesis of the color being added to the BW image :>

You are correct. It was shot on Kodak T-Max film, and colored in digitally.

obviously the price. 9 bucks for almost three gallons is nothing but a dreamworld fantasy.

The price is real. The image was taken about a year and a half ago, with the price having fallen since then. It looks as though the price is going back up, unfortunately.

We pay something like 1.80 in us currency over here..

Exactly.

Of course, there is a rumor spreading around that they're going to start charging people a $10 surcharge on top of however much the 'per gallon' cost is going to be. That is, of course, speculation, and we're just going to have to wait and see.

I would almost guess that the original was color, you flushe the color on one and then overlayed the two. I guess that because of how pixelated the words are on the two farther gas types. That is a sign of some manipulation.

Half right. The photo was manipulated. But it wasn't originally color.
