The little Passenger
I did this as a warmup doodle on Wednesday. I just wanted to draw Three in her wilderness gear. The little dragon was inspired by a few documentaries I'd seen of people who went into the South American jungle and were adopted by parrots. The birds would go completely tame and climb all over folks. So, this is a random dragon who has decided that Three is comfortable and has perched on her shoulders. She's probably happy for the company so she's not so quick to shoo him away.
I also haven't drawn a dragon in awhile, and I definitely had to do something about that!
Copic marker and on canvasboard. The image has been sold.

It was a long time since I saw them. I mostly just recall a scene where a man was writing journal notes and a small parrot was perched on his shoulder observing the whole time. Sometimes he had to put the bird on his finger and shift him around and the parrot allowed himself to be shifted the way a tame bird would. Also another show where you could go out on a boat, show "Paco!" and the wild McCaws would fly over and visit you.
