Lol, i expect a lot of people to hate this pic, but it goes with the other two i'm uploading in a comical way ;P

I'm a WW2 German reenactor and profession historian, and seeing guys in Wehrmacht uniforms doing a Sieg Heil (only SS did that, wehrmacht used the normal military salute throughout the war, even after hitler ordered them to use the sieg heil post-assassination attempt), one of them wearing a nazi party badge (offical nazi party members were banned from the wehrmacht, though a very few high ranking generals were given honourary membership as a reward sort of thing, even if they didn't want it) and a Knights Cross (equivalent of wearing a medal of honour), and cheap east german knock off stuff, angers me greatly. |:

I see, Idk, The uniforms are sexy, and being the Nazi regime is over, i guess the uniforms are free game to wear however you please. :P

Oh no doubt the uniforms are sexy...they'd be a lot sexier if the nazi-furs would bother to wear/draw them right xD And us reenactors have always had a stigma against wearing the Knights Cross unless you either A) Are portraying a specific person for a living history public event or B) Earned it the only way you can in a reenactment, save another reenactors life. Which has only happened once, when a reenactor plunged off a 100 foot cliff, and another reenactor in his unit (1st Fallschirmjager) climbed down the cliffface, stabilized him, and got him out to where he could be med-evac'ed by helicopter. x3 That earned it. x3

Its all about the eye of the beholder in my opinion, I'd care more if the army was still in commission, for example, if someone would mess up a detail of a Marine uniform,

but hey, its dead? ya know. Reenactments i realize need to be realistic, But we are all just messin around here :P

True true. It's just some tick in my reenactor/historian eye and/or brain that goes "WRONGWRONG OMG MUST EDUCATE PEOPLE" x3 And next thing I know, I go on a rant xD

That kid on das links is out of uniform. He needs his Karibratior Kar98k and his Utility Vest with it. Not just his belt. And I think the hat is alittle big on him. btw you'd know where to find one? I just want a plain all grey one. for a decent price
