I've reviewed this over and over again. I let it sit for a few weeks and I realized that there were things I needed to add to it in order to fix the pacing in the following chapters.
I think I like this one better.

I also love your use of words, too many people are afraid to really play and explore. While others are too afraid to really read anymore.
I can't blame her.. but J.K.Rowling didn't help and yet, she united people into reading.. I guess she had to keep within certain limits for everyone to gather from the same cup.

Considering where the H. Potter series came from, a child's bedtime story, she did quite well. She told a safe story with a lot of safe characters.
