More cross-post! I thought this guy was worth posting even though he was from a less adept period during last semester, because he's a pretty cool character and the assignment (for Character Design in this case) was a fun one.

In terms of the project specs, we were randomly assigned a stereotypic "class" (elf/wizard/fighter/dwarf) with either a good or evil alignment, then prompted to design it in either a high fantasy or surreal manner, complete with some form or mount or animal sidekick.

I wound up getting an evil elf as my starting point, and decided to try and make my design as un-pretty as possible by taking the classical elongated feature stereotype to a vaguely grotesque extreme. Feature-wise, he's designed to live in a volcanic wasteland, and his mount is a great carnivorous alligator spider bulldog thing.
