Freedom lies in finding the right key. Sometimes we can do it ourselves, sometimes we need a little help. This drawing to me encompasses how I feel about the furry side of me, and the freedom that one can gain in leaving the rules and roles that can bind us. To me, this captures the essence of what the furry lifestyle does, it frees you from the cage we all live our lives in, in part from the friendship that comes from belonging to the anthro community. The key represents that freedom, brought by the connection with another sentient, but feral, creature.

"Animal i have become"... great song. I used that during the onstage presentation of my serval fursuit at Further Confusion. Those that recognized the opening bars voiced their appreciation, and the rest of the audience looked confused, wondering what song they were hearing.
As to the artz, the Blotches did this out of their own creative minds, and it was sold at art auction at Anthrocon. To me, this captures the essence of what the furry lifestyle does, it frees you from the cage we all live our lives in, in part from the friendship that comes from belonging to the anthro community. The key represents that freedome, brought by another sentient but feral creature. (Now that I've said that, I think I will add this to my comments on the pic... thanks!)
I have lots of original art... from impressionists to anthro... but this photo is the one that hangs next to my side of the bed, so I can see it every morning.
