Wolfgang made a lot of scatological jokes in his lifetime & this isn't the only song he performed for friends that had toilet humor. He had a problem. The literal translation of the song title is rather gross, but it's the equivalent of "Kiss my ass", so that's the translation I'm using.
Somebody left a review on iTunes for a collection of Mozart songs saying, "My personal favorite is the beautiful choir symphony "Leck Mich Im Arsch". Oh so wonderful!" *Ahem*, heh, I wonder if that person knows what they're saying in that song. It sounds nice, though.

Yeah, this is a good example of something that shouldn't be translated literally, since "Lick me in the ass" in German is really just the equivalent of "Kiss my ass". When I used Google Translate on the German version of the article I linked to, it translated the lyrics a couple times(with "ass" replaced with "A" because Mozart was silly) as "Fuck you in the A...". It tried to translate the meaning instead of the literal words, but was a little off. Oddly enough, it translated one "leck mich" as "bite me" when he was just repeating "leck mich" over and over. I guess Google wanted to switch things up.
