I really like this picture, I got a little sloppy on the bamboo shoots or whatever.

This character is new, his full name is Zhya Chaujen, which I constructed from the Chinese name section of my name book. Had to pick a Chinese because you know... red pandas are in china.

The internal logic here is that he is posing for a painting his family is forcing him to get...which he did, and his attitude about the required pose is terrible for hours holding it.(Which required family member training made it a annoyance than a problem.)

His family is known for being the famous high profile wardens of the area. Chaujen however suffers nervous breakdowns if he notices a crowd people paying attention to him so high profile is not an option, leading him to actually get very good at escapes from public places.

The hoop is used for mobility and is simply a focus, all the magic comes from him. he also has that mundane sword which he tries to make excuses not to use.

Being pressured to make a name for himself, and being too well known in his home town to evade attention. He goes out to travel the world and try and make a name for himself as a great explorer...And stuff happens.
