Full-color commission I streamed for
-kronexfire-
Surprisingly took longer than I had expected, but it came out rather well, methinks.
Anyway, here you go bud! Sorry you couldn't stick around long enough for the final product in action, I just took too long to finish :s
Lemme know if you need anything fixed, or if you want a higher resolution pic sent to ya.

Ohhhh, I see you used those same lighting effects, eh?
The pic looks very stunning, and those expressions of yours continue to brighten my day! ^o^ And I think I noticed a slight change in your line art. Previously I mentioned they had that itchy looking feel to them. Now, I think you adopted thicker lines and accents that are reminiscent of a paint brush. Ya know, something like Okami's line art style. I must say it is very beautiful. I can't help but stare at that detail every time I turn on my computer.
I really like the detail you put into the tail's fur fins. For a piece like this, I don't know what you or Krone's intentions were for it, but I don't think any improvements are needed. The soft contrast could be the only thing, to create more intensity, but I suspect the mood of the piece would become confusing with a clash between Krone's expression and darker contrast.
Nice job!

Haaahh, thanks bud! Yeah now that I'm doing all of my inking digitally, I found a paintbrush to use in Photoshop to do all of my lines with, as opposed to the "itchy" traditional pen I used before :P The brush style of OKami has always fascinated me, and I would love to try and fully imitate it one day :D
I guess a little contrast could be used in the background, or maybe a little color, yeah. Even still I think the shading does a decent enough job of that.

I didn't think it would be so simple, but I found some Okami style brushes from DA that other artists already made. <3
Experimenting with them now.
