Dragon is more appropriately written 龍 (ryuu)
Rat is more appropriately written 鼠 (nezumi) which also means mouse

Written in simpler Japanese dragon is りゅう
Simpler written rat is ねずみ

On the page you linked your looking for the second one down. Sorry for late response lots of yard work. And the translation I gave is more appropriate but not necessarily wrong. It's a contex and usage thing. But who really cares? The art itself is quite good.

Not wrong at all. But the one that I illustrated is the one that's more commonly used. I should not of pointed it out. I suppose I was just bored and guess I decided to type the comment for the sake of typing a comment. Admire your artwork all the same.
