I need to work on drawing "lightning". Hmm.
I've had this idea in mind since playing the first inFamous game when it was free on PSN for a while, and the idea grew even more with the second game, inFamous 2. I mean, c'mon, electrical powers?
Surge? He's got electrical powers, right? Perfect fit! :D
Then I started drawing and realized: "...There's a lot of light sources in this one." And then further on "Geez he glows pretty much everywhere too, huh? D:" and then it seemed like not such a good idea, lol.

That's one of the things I'm not quite happy with. Its very hard to tell exactly how far the buildings are in this shot, and depending on how far away they are the lighting could or could not have a very noticeable effect on them. For instance, I can't have shading on every single building in the background, it would quickly get ridiculous so I'd need a cut-off point for the distance the light affects them. But I wasn't quite sure where that was, and I honestly didn't take the time to consider it too much, so I just sorta threw things together here. XP I really should've put more time and effort into it, but I feel rather pressed for both lately so I didn't.
Still, I think it turned out okay, but yeah, not really happy with all of it.
