Rift had always dreamed of slaying a dragon, he started as a mercenary, doing simple jobs like ridding the local graveyard of undead or chasing away a mob of goblins. When he started to become known in other towns he then recieved more important and challenging tasks like dealing with rogue wizards or ridding a fortress of bandits. When the message came from the King that the foul dragon Brokenhorn had returned and was asked to slay him Rift was left speechless. He hastily replied with yes and set out to defeat Brokenhorn, looking back at it he maybe should of thought about it, or at least asked for some more supplies. After many days of traveling Rift reached the mountain where Brokenhorn awaited him. The massive dragon loomed over him with lethal flames pouring out of its mouth. With a smile Rift raised his sword and shield and prepared to fight! He didnt care if he won or died, either way his name would go down in history!
