Here you can see part of the ceiling that fell, yet the plywood is still there.

I've been told the entire front roof will be removed and new plywood put down, and the entire ceiling in my room, and probably my daughter's room, will have to be removed and replaced. You can see where the remaining ceiling is sagging, so I am not too surprised.

Oh, I am virtually certain it will be covered. I am using the contractors the Insurance Company suggests, listening to what each is saying, and I feel very confident everything will be restored better than ever. Seriously. BETTER!

The plywood ripped off was primary damage. The ceiling was secondary.

I'm told that as long as the insurance adjuster gets his stuff going quick, this will all be in the past by the end of the month.

At least nobody was hurt, and the damage could have been more severe. Glad you made it through!

That's some hole. It defenately looks like the whole thing will need to be replaced. Fortunately there's nothing up there now, at least where the hole is.
