Anyway, once free, the first thing Malar did was confront Xvim and stripped him of his 'ceremonial robes' (a loincloth), the symbol of his superiority.
He then stated, in no uncertain terms, that Xvim was not superior to him, but also stated that he himself wasn't superior.
Malar stated that they were to be equal, as he had no wish of conquering his former master.

Well... not yet anyway.
