I found this little stillborn calf skull a week ago down the cliff of the mesa I live on.
He is very tiny, about the size of a sheep's head.

It is very hard to find baby animal's skulls in such near-perfect condition like this; Their bones are still developing, so the skull tends to fall apart while the body is decomposing. The only damage to this fella is his missing nasal bones, and missing four of his incisors. (Other side)

I really, really love baby animal skulls. They're my favorite to collect, because they are so different than mature skulls. I also just plain love baby animals. <3
