tighter turns by not pivoting the middle set and having the back two counter the front (or all five set pivot and you can also 'crab' it sideways when needed - we had that on the tow trucks for parking aircraft )

I might end up doing that with the finished model. Or rather models, since each method of stearing requires a different control rig.
