.....trying something different for a pair of costuming badges for Krados & myself~ ^^-;
Actually, these were made almost soley to 'fill up' space when laminating a re-printed badge for a customer and not wanting to waste laminate~ :'S
((YUP. Sometimes the need to simply 'not waste' iz the driving force for stuff~! X'S ))
...was totally NOT feeling these were going anywhere until white-pencil hit cardboard too! X'> now they've grown on me :'S
*Inked with an 0.2 & 0.5 feltips directly onto coloured card-board, then marker & pencil-coloured

I'm particularly impressed with how you have worked with the surface texture of the cardboard and it's interaction with the pencil's tip to create complex surface patterns (i.e fur on Dr Magma and the scales on Nurse Enjoy) - where a marker pen would have laid down a solid slab of pigment. Also, I like the way the colour of the background media shows through the pencil pigment and gives a nice coloured gel lighting effect over the whole image.
All in all, skilfully executed. And as they say - necessity is the mother of invention.
