Me, well I've always love to be padded. My first memory of it was when I was about 3 0r 4 years old, and I decided to try one of my newborn cousin's diapers, It didn't fit of course but that was my first experience with it. It just never went away as the years went on. eventually I hate my teenage years and got money to buy my own, so I did. I've always had the urge for it ever since. Babyfur came along later, when I became a furry it naturally meshed with my AB/DL tendencies to make a Babby XD.
ive been a furry my whole life i never could put a name to it tho. when i was small my parents abandoned me and i grew up being told skinny is pretty i have to act like a lady and normal.. but i got into furry stuff and liked it and ive been made fun of and hurt by people. when i found the babyfur fandom i thought it was a good way to regain the parental figures and baby stuff i never got as a baby
I am always sad to hear stories about people who were hurt by their parents or other adults that they should have been able to trust. :(
I am pretty sure that I am an AB because my mother died of cancer when I was little. It wasn't as if anybody I trusted hurt me, but the disease took her away from us -- there is no one to blame, but it was still very bad. :( Abuse is one kind of trauma, but there are other kinds.

To be honest, I'm not a AB or DL. However, I do find the psychology behind it and how it can change a persons mind set to that of a babies to escape the outside world very interesting. A good example of this is this comic.
