what is the needle you used called?

I actually used a blade to cut the hole and scissors to push it through. TBH it's easier to glue it like a normal weft then push it through and glue it again

What type of fur did you use?
My fursona has pretty much the same hair style and I was wondering if you could advise me on how you did it.
Did you use NFT fur? or something else.

It's bulk braid kanekelon, used for synthetic hair weave like braids and track wefting. I basically made small clumps of hair and hot glued the tips together then installed them into a small bit of foam and installed that into the foamwork base. Next time I would probably try to use a small frame instead. Anywhoo here is a tutorial done by Beetlecat showing basically how to make the "wefts"

takes like 4-5 jumbo braids to make one mohawk. I may make one but I'm not open for new projects until march-april. If you want to drop me a line in a few months I can give you a quote :)
