At Condition Furry last year I ran into  kanthara who had an artists table there. I couldn't believe it! After a friendly conversation... which I'm ashamed to admit I was just a teensy bit fangirlish as she signed my Gargoyles comics.... she drew this lovely picture for me. Gleee!

She even put the little zigzag pattern in her web that black and yellow garden spiders do in their webs!(the spider chase is based on) That was something I only mentioned in passing as we were talking about 'pyders, so I was suprised and pleased to see that detail in the finished picture. She is a cool lady. :3

I really like traditional art. Digital is nice, but there's just something about being able to see all the little pen strokes in a traditional piece. This piece is one of my favorites and it sat on display on my computer desk for months before I moved it into my chase portfolio book.

For those of you worried about Chase getting cold from all the rampant nudity, don't worry. The next couple commissions I had done have her in clothing. :3
