You know how sometimes, when you haven't had a meal for most of the day, and only little tidbits, you just feel horrible? Almost like you're going to snap at someone, but you also want to just curl up and growl at the world?
Yeah, I went through one of those moods. The kitchen was being used, and I didn't want to make myself any more of a menace than I already was in going into there. I tried to distract myself by going on the computer, and then onto a livestream of art. My attitude came through, and rather than being offended, people actually asked what was wrong, and showed sympathy. That...honestly was a pretty amazing thing, then and there. No drama lhama aside from myself, no "get out, you're ruining the mood". Just people tolerating me, and listening.
And then Streex does something awesome, and aside from allowing me to enter the raffle for a free sketch, he actually decided to give me one, JUST to make me feel better...and it did. It made me feel guilty for my actions, but it did make me feel better...and what's better, it seemed that it even brought me more luck outside of the situation, as soon afterwards, I was actually allowed to enter the kitchen to make a pot of quick chilli~
...I guess what I'm trying to say here is that Streex really is a nice person, and while he doesn't give out free stuff 24/7, he....well, is a nice person. Give him attention, people, he deserves more.
And if all that isn't a good enough reason, well, then look at this quick sketch he drew - a studly stallion with a very good bust picture as well. THAT has to draw some attention.
