Your right, it's true, but the truth sometimes hurts... Things are slowly getting better, I've been trying to look forward to this parade I've been goin' to my whole life.. Even though it's gonna be 95°F with a heat index of 115°F D: And thanks, it means a lot that you think such. <3

Ouch, 115 heat index. That's some serious humidity. The most miserable weather I've ever survived in was 104 degrees with 104% condensing humidity. You would walk outside and immediately be soaking wet, not because you were sweating, rather because your body temperature was lower than the air temperature so the water was condensing on you.

Our parade is Wednesday of course. This will be my 49th parade. Of course the first time I went I was in a stroller.... And this will be the 35th time I've worked on the parade, the last several years running the 15 blocks of the line-up area. It's a really big parade.

You are a wonderful person, and I'm very glad that things are getting better.

Hope the weather treats you kindly, and that you have a marvelous time at the parade. I'll be wearing a three quart camelback filled with iced lemonaid (and it will probably be empty by 2:00 PM if not earlier).

Big Parades are always so much fun, but the one I'm goin' to is a little small town one out in the middle of nowhere :P I'll be just sittin' under a giant tree in shorts and a tank top :D

I'll take a few pictures of my parade, you take a few photos of yours. Some one gets a picture of me at the parade, someone gets a picture of you at the parade. We swap photos.

I used to do this a bunch with my cousins in Scottland. But since there are so few of us left, it doesn't happen often any longer.

I'm planning to have a bunch of fun, even if I am working hard on the parade.
