Hey there folks ^,^
This is a bit of a colab between me and my good friend
xehta13 =3 Based on a RP we're working on and featuring Petie and his Derick "The Wild" Yumi http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7958175/ What happens when these two very, VERY different bounty hunters meet each other? Comedy and adorableness of course! =D
Petie whistled to himself as he waddled along. He was out on his own in town for once and things were actually going really smoothly. Sure a wanted bandit had grabbed him planning to use him as a hostage and shield… but the bawling chimchar in his arms was testament to how well THAT went for the fire type. Petie was on his was to turn the guy into the marines and collect his bounty and he doubted things could go wrong now.
“HEEEEEEEEY!!!!”
Petie blinked and looked up to see who screamed and saw a mightyena… girl? Guy? He couldn’t tell honestly. No boobs but whatever it was had long girlish hair and hips no guy should ever be forced to endure. The voice sounded male. It had armor over one arm and had a nasty looking sword on its hip as well as a few guns as it hurried over to him and skidded to a halt “What are you doing!?” it demanded.
“… bringing in a bounty to the marines?”
“He was my mark kid! I’ve been chasing him for days!”
“You’re a bounty hunter too?”
“Yeah! Wait… you mean YOU’RE an actual bounty hunter?”
Petie decided to dodge that question as he held the squirming chimchar firmly “Well he tried to take me as a hostage, so I’m turning him in. Sorry.” He said as he turned and started to waddle off only to find the mightyena in front of him again “Oh no.” he said, crossing his arms in annoyance “I’m already low on funds and this guys gonna help me get them back up!” that made Petie feel a little guilty for stealing the bounty out from under this… whatever it was’s nose.
“How about we split it then?”
“You do know how much his bounty is right?”
“Ummm… 200,000 beri, right?”
“Exactly.” He said, having swiped the chimchar out of Petie’s hands before the teddiursa knew what’d happened “Look kid, go back to your mom or sister or whatever. This isn't something to play around with.” Petie bristled a little at the comment, but knew he’d never be able to take the dark type in a straight fight… luckily that’s what devil fruits are for.
POOF.
A confused poochyena puppy in a pink diaper sat next to the Chimchar as Petie picked the fire type back up “Not playing.” Petie said snorting a little “And for your information getting back to them is exactly why I need this money.” He finished, about to walk off whistle Rock-a-bye Baby as the poochyena growled “Hey!” and before Petie’s eyes grew in size… a bit. He grew and shifted from infant to probably a toddler as he waddled back in front of Petie as the teddiursa stared realizing he was dealing with another devil fruit user.
The puppy tried to pull his pistol out only to find it was a soft baby toy “Huh?” he looked at it in confusion before glaring at Petie “Okay, how’d you do that?” Petie was silent for a moment before answering, really amazed the puppy kept his composure since most people broke down crying after being transformed “Devil fruit, same as you I think. Like I said before, wanna split the bounty?” he offered as the puppy glared at him defiantly a moment more before sighing.
“… if I agree will you please turn me back?”
“Sure… but I can’t turn stuff back so you’d be in what you’re wearing now… wanna wait till after we turn him in?”
“Yeah… but my stuff WILL turn back, right?”
“Yep… I’m Petie by the way.”
“Derick.”
“Nice to meet you.”
"Yeah yeah. Can we go now? This is so humiliating.”
