Is that a micro ATX, or is the case really really big?

Ah, yep, that's one big case. Good choice, too - I know someone who was supposed to fix a friend's 9800 GTX back in the days, and told him "If you repair it, you can keep it" ... it had freezes, was displaying artifacts and eventually leaded to BSODs, which was probably an overheating problem (Nvidia in a nutshell)

So the guy takes it and put it on a shit PC just to test it, with a regular shitty Acer case to test it quickly. It like, burned instantly (Don't know why the PC booted tho, normaly there should be a security) and fucked up everything. In fact, the fan wasn't working - and just the case, which was a big, well cooled one, kept it alive.


Just a good computer case could save your PC.

yep only reason i can keep the 4.2ghz oc on my 8 core cpu is the fact that i have 3 fans blowing air in and one blowing. out lots of air flow room temp doesn't like it 80 + in my room all the time. but with out a better cooler nothing i can do about it

Seriously? I have 4.2 Ghz on my old dual core in a middle shitty computer case ... But then, that was some good OC stuff back in the days (Pretty old stuff: core 2 duo E8500 on a P5Q pro with a zalman 9900LED on it. But it was a stable one)

I plan on making a new rig in 2013, because new consoles will be released that year and even if I hate console gaming, developers should be supposed to get it to the next level. Also, I want Arma 3 on 3 or more screens lol.

yeah my heat sinks dinky compared to most and 8 cores makes it a bit toasty. was planing on water cooling but decided to spend my money on another project at the moment. loving building motorized pedal bikes, 30 mph and 150 mpg nice way to get around town!

Aha nice. I'm not fond of vehicles and kinda planned to try watercooling one day too.

I'd be surprised if a Micro ATX had two PCI-e slots for GPUs in the first place.

... I didn't see that these were video cards that fill two slots. They look pretty small on the pic Oo

Well, they're crossfired, but they'd still need their own slot.

Yeah but I mean, you can get 4 PCI e on a micro ATX, but if Sepheran can put 2 x 2 PCIe slot videocards, and leave a space between them it means there's waaay more than 4 PCIe ports here, except if I'm missing something.
