A pit bull dog skull that I found and painted for my Dad as a Father's Day gift.
I'm not into sports at all, but this painting was very fun to do regardless!
(Yes, there is a bullet hole in the skull.)

Thank you!
I found it like this; Bullet hole entering the back and exiting through the front of the skull. Unfortunately it seems that the owner either couldn't afford a vet, or just didn't care for the dog. No, I didn't try to smooth it, I like the rough texture of bones like this, even though it does make it difficult to paint lol.

Just a few months now. I've always been interested in animal remains and skulls, I just haven't had the resources or know-how on how to get and use them. But now that I do, I just can't stop working with my skulls and bones! I feel like they fill an artistic void that I've been searching for for years now. :)
