the wolf reminds me of Natani from twokinds

Yeah his original character and story was based off Twokinds. Short version he lived in the same village as Natani but was sent away for his own protection because the templar found out he could use manna without the need for stones. They feared if other keidran somehow got this ability, It would be even harder to keep them in there place and they might even become stronger than the Templar themselves.
