Nobody is MAKING anyone else buy the suit. No Fur NEEDS a suit.
And nobody is gunna make a suit for $50. Make your own someday, when you can afford the 3 yards of fur at $20 a yard. Add in the time it takes to make it, and you're ALREADY OVER the asking price for this suit.
Hi..this is the Real World. Embrace it.

Dude, no. Just no.
If you cannot afford it, you cannot afford it.
There is absolutely no reason to comment like this on anyone's work. It is completely rude, and belittles the hard work that someone puts into this.
What if you enjoyed working on something, wanted to offer it up so someone else could enjoy it, and I came along and told you you were asking too much? It'd suck. There is no reason for me to do so, just like there is no reason for you to say something like that here.
I doubt it will get through to you, but I believe an apology is in order from you to Kiwi.
As for expenses, you should be happy to hear that I have a present for you, at absolutely no cost.
You've got the rare honour of joining my block-list, as I have no desire to have any dealings with an ungrateful person such as yourself.
Good day.

Seriously? $400 for a partial suit is WAY undercharging for the amount of work that goes into something like this. I won't do a head for less than $500. And that's a head alone- no tail, no paws. Hell, I charge upwards of $100 on PLUSHIES and they sell. It's about labor, time and materials. Just because YOU can't afford it, doesn't make it too expensive.
It's okay that you can't afford things. I can't afford to buy things I want either. But belittling an artist because of their prices is NEVER okay. NEVER. We artists put our experience and hard work into our products and we deserve to be paid for it. If you can't afford it, fine. But someone else will, and will buy our work. Sour grapes will get you nowhere.

As an artist, I can tell you, whether you intended it or not, it DOES feel like belittling. You're basically saying the artist's work is worth the price they're asking. May not seem that way to you, but that's how it sounds to us artists and crafters.
And yes, you CAN afford it, even on a tiny salary. It's called saving. I ought to know. I save for everything I ever buy that is not related to my household bills, because I do not have the disposable income to drop on a frivolous purchase. So I save the little bits of change here and there, and put them into high-interest bank account and let them grow over time. And then I get to buy what I want. It may take time, but it teaches patience, and lets me make absolutely sure I really want something, because it takes some time to save up for it.
