My Character Aurealis, a breed of Dracarii Dragons native to the water. I had a blast designing him. Being a water dragon he has smooth, sleek scales on his back and sides, but his neck and underbelly have a soft fur coat. He has three barbed fins that run from his crest and shoulders clear down to his tail. As a Dracarii Aurealis can dip into deep arcane magics linked to their bloodline. When this happens his flesh blows in patterned markings that run from nose to tail. When he dips far enough into these magics the markings emit a glow which closely resembles the Aurora Borealis.
