I was inspired to write a poem when I was done reading Red Lantern. It was a beautiful ending to a really great story. I felt kind of silly doing so, but this contest of Rukis's gives me an excuse to post it and not be judged. Er… poor choice of words there. But I'm sure someone out there knows what I mean. I know that it's not the greatest poem in the world (What am I, a 3rd grader?), but I'm proud of it. I put a lot of time attempting to summarize the relationship between the main characters without blowing it out of proportion. It may still need some work, but I'm happy with how it is edited now.

I don't care if I win. I just can't wait to see what you think.
