Well, seeing as we made this species up...everything? ;)

so you know all about blood shadows, fall of the garden of life, the el de Crusades? very long and very neat story. Also your speices here would shound much like wispers. Those are the spirt like beings that exist in our world, they can be seen and even heard sometimes under the right conditions. Swinging of a sword can not hurt or kill these beings, no weapon in our world can, we are as ghosts to each other. Also they seem harmless and tthey do seem to like empty places/dark places. Yeah lighting certain candles could make them visable.
