I couldn't think of a title for this picture. D: Suggestions are welcome!

I needed a little bit of a break from my current commissions to work on something for myself. I originally had a character who was a human with fox ears and a tail named Raine, but because that character's design was very boring, nothing became of him. Tentatively I will leave this character named Raine, but we'll see if I come up with something new. I've always wanted to have a deer or reindeer character but none of the designs I played around with ever stuck, so I finally made one that I really like. He's got a reference sheet on the way but I'll work on that between commissions.

Raine is looking over the edge of a building at the party/big bonfire happening down on the ground below, hence the change in lighting.

Also, I learned how to make plaid! =] I've never actually done it myself without using someone else's texture, so... yay!
