Two boys get a little more than they bargained for while snooping around an attic. An early piece for Halloween!

WARNING: This story is written in thick, highly phoneticized vernacular, narration included. If you have difficulty reading it, that's why.
This was an idea that suddenly came to me the other day, while discounting all the other possible responses I've had to
Renee Carter Hall' "treasure hunt" prompt. I've never really written in vernacular quite this much before, but it is definitely something I enjoy. This is an idea I'm quite willing to expand upon and edit, but I wanted to see the general reaction to it first. So, enjoy. :D

Good Lordy Take... I had to shift mental gears for this one but enjoyed it a lot. Hallowen is definately close.
ahhhh... what was in the trunk?
*twitches her ears in curiosity...
I do hope you're not taking lessons from our Irish Wolf... it wasn't a old girlfriend or something was it?

I'm still going through the "discounting ideas" stage for the last three prompts. :P I think we're all taking the prompts too seriously, since it was supposed to make you just spit something out and then possibly leave it alone. It was not a command to finish one polished story each week!
Ohsnap, gotta make sure those transliterations stay consistent. @.@
You know, right now you're my favorite person. :3 Not only are you commenting on all my old stuff, but every time you do, I go back and read the entry first so I know what you're talking about. It's reminding me that, yes, I can write!
Also, what's your native language? :O Out of curiosity.
