Beautiful platinum pearl fox that arrived a couple days ago. He's been named as such for the arrowhead marking on his throat. His coat is very silky and thick, it's a blessing to have the opportunity to see this fox in person.
He's a very hansom chap, the color variation between his shoulders and upon his tail is just stunning in the sunlight.
I received this fox from another artist so I don't know his origins. He is used solely for artistic reference only. He will be left as is and will not be mounted. I may search and add feet for him.

It is a fox yes. His coloration is whats called a "platinum pearl" as his coat is a more muted warm greys as opposed to the black undercoat and sharp silver tips of a silver fox. Those muted greys is where the "pearl" comes from, while the white blaze, white legs and underbelly, and white "collar" around the neck marks a platinum fox.
Hey Sharpe, if you want to know his origin. He's from Glacierwear, I lost a bidding war with Dutchess on him haha. So happy you got him and not Greasy :| I wish you would've got my sunglow too, she went to a good taxidermist but they aren't on any sites so I'll never see her around anymore.
Haha yeah! Glacierwear around Christmas time had a calico, this guy and a sungliw all up for auction on eBay. I lost the calico only because I just did not want to pay over $150 for a wallhanger. :/ I got into a bid war with Dutchess on this guy, phone crapped out and I ended up winng the sunglow haha.
I dunno how his condition is, Dutchess told me he was in good shape. My marbles had blown out ears, thin leather (for me typical with everythi/g I have bought from them so no news) and the jaw was blown out on one side (like... Her lip was there, not really enough to tuck but it seperated it self from the lower jaw partially. Strange)
I was told if I got +er feet and ears she coul've been mounted but ffff. Screw that ranches are a nightmare to try and get parts from. Dx

*flails* there was a calico?? Geez, $150 is a steal cause those usually go for twice that easily for a craft pelt. Fully mountable calico's are about $1000 x.x
This one is in decent shape, but if it's from GW, I really won't try having him mounted. Their tans, when you go to hydrate them, become slimy and rubbery *makes a face* but he's alright. There's decent lip material and a little eyelid. Nose is in average clean shape, but the ears on this guy are blown as well. It's a shame though that they cut his legs off >.<
Sounds like I need to watch GW's eBay more often haha!
