Yeah well - the first figures I painted. You may notice, that there are some markings, like the hair of the lynx that are added to the original figure. Thats no problem as long as I´m capabel of doing it^^
Was some real fun :3

Not bad at all. Look up drybrushing. it can really make hair texture pop out on a figure. What figures are these, who makes them? Schleich makes some really great animal figures for painting, Papo makes nice ones too but Ive not painted any of them.
When I drybrush to get hair texture Like doing a black figure, I add grey or white to the back and work it just a bit lighter, dab off most of the paint from the brush then brush across the hair, takes getting most of the paint off the brush before brushing the figure so you dont get globs but it works.
Heres a horse I did a while back;

Yeah - thanks for the hint!
The biggest Problem ist the light and the camera - actually all of the colours are drybrushed with at least one layer. I did it in a soft way, so that the difference between the layers aren´t that great. Makes the fur look much more realistic, but doesn´t have that "eyecatching" effect of an hard layering.
But the next time I try to be more strict^^
