OK this is +90% (depending on the inner-frame) as there are only a few things left to do, namely replacement part(s) and clear-coating.
OK I tried rattle-can clear coat and that failed miserably, now I have my hands on some VERY thin clear-coat and I do not want to disassemble him again.
Then there is the face mask... I am contemplating on how to do that.
I made a lot of mistakes but I also learned much. He still looks good.
Why did it take me 18 days?
1 - Did now want to take pictures after he was finished.
2 - Primer takes for ever to cure
3 - Learning as I go.
4 - All of the above.
5 - Is that GNY-001 Gundam Astraea next to Spallow? Yes that is, She's next on the painting block (Gundam Astraea is a she because she has boobs :P )

personally i really like the top coat from "the army painter". its ready to work with after like 15 minutes and looks great. they only have it as satin and super matt coats though, to my knowledge they dont have it as a high gloss coat. and a matt or satin coat wouldnt look good on thos paint :T
also, what kind of paint did you use?
also, what kind of paint did you use?
My first coating came from model master's enamel top coat, rattle-can.
After wrestling with that stuff and finding out that Future floor polish is an acrylic clear coat I started using that stuff. With an airbrush it goes on (just about impossibly) thin and it has a semi-gloss shine to it. I even hear people thinning paints with Future floor finish.
I got a 27 ounce bottle for 8 bucks, it dries crystal clear but it has a "fresh scent" that you only notice if you are close to the model.
