A troll isn't there to listen to logic or have their mind changed and half are closet furs anyway, they're there to make you feel like crap. Admitedly having some fight back will stop people going onto youtube and only seeing 'furs are freaks' but if you keep it up of course it won't stop.
Stop feedin the trolls and they wither away into a little pile of idiot funk while screaming 'Yiff in hell furfags' as the 20Hz hum they call brainwaves explode because they can't handle that someone is comfortable with being labled a freak! The problem is I wanna pile many of the furs into the same category.

This is way too damn true, and something that really needs to stop.
That is, people defending their furriness to the point where you'd look at them, and think that their entire life is riding on it.
Looking like an obsessive-compulsive wretch isn't going to make the furry fandom look any better.
But as you said, apathy to the whole issue, or even just kind of saying "Yeah, you're right. Furfag. So?".. is really a lot more effective.
As a great number once said, the Star Trek fandom had people calling them freaks and nerds, and they were smart enough to not try to reason with these people. Just kind of shrugged and went on.
I'mma show this comic to a bunch of people, even some non-furry friends of mine, because I'm sure they would agree.

Hmm... well, I'm torn on a few of them. ^^; I love the first letter from DoomBee, with the long, awkward silence after, followed by 2's frightened screams.
And then I like the game he and Prismo played. "Be He Black or Be He Not Black?", with their answer that Jakabe was white. XD;

Hrm. I don't egt onto youtube much, living under my rock still, it seems. Still, I think I've seen some of the furrhate vids you're hitting on. Yeah, it's hard not to defend when one is attacked, kind of natural that, but you are right. These people aren't arguing logically, they're emotional and scared, driving for a fight, not an arguement. No point in dealing with a bunch like that.

it's not that people shouldnt respond, it's just that the response has to actually be effective. since most verbal responses to net-abuse (when you cant even physically touch the person, let alone know who they are) come off half-assed, it just makes a person look bad. However, a very intelligent, original and clever comeback at the right moment is priceless. Just not enough smart people around, unforts.

A lot of furries are crazy about furryness. Or maybe just plain crazy. They practically troll themselves. You know the type. Every stereotype in the book. I've been tempted more than once to make an extremely gay, liberal, vegetarian, mysogynist, anti-Christian, misanthrope, Otherkin, zoophile, ad infinitum alter-ego to show them how stupid they look.
So anti-furry really is about being right-wing Christian (as opposed to more tolerant Christians of whom there are many), homophobic, and pretty much a prude, and that the justification for attacking furries is purely based on them being human beings you disagree politically with?
(It's funny because I have a lot of friends who are furries that are Christians or even conservative, who think attacking people for being eccentric is a waste of time and against what America is about.)

When it comes to the people who are pretty dumb and dont' know what the hell is going on, I try to tell them the deal about furries. But when they're the assbutts that just say "yiff in yell furfag", the only thing you can do is just walk away. I do try to inform people who are confuzzled or don't know anybetter, but there is no reasoning or anything with the hate-trolls. And the sooner people figure out they are making things worse throwing nitro on the fire, then the sooner the whole fur racism thing will die off.
